V. Shanmugam brings extensive experience across engineering, textile manufacturing, and business consultancy spanning over four decades.
- 1978-1992: Head of Engineering at Vijaya Foundry, Coimbatore, manufacturing Pumps & Motors. Successfully expanded marketing operations in Andhra Pradesh.
- 1993-2009: Operated a Knitting Mill in Tirupur on Commission Work for Exports.
- 2009-2018: Administrative Head of Shri Raaga Tex (SRT), consultants for the Knitting & Finishing Industry in India. SRT were dealers for Finishing & Laboratory Equipment from world leaders in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and South Korea, setting up more than 40 world-class projects both in India and abroad with know-how transfers and training.
- 2018-Present: Promoted WINCORP as Sole-Proprietor, providing consulting services to IT services companies and serving as a mentor to business groups in the Textile Industry, developing sales strategies and expansion plans that drive revenue growth and market share.

- Global Training: Trained at industry leaders' facilities across Switzerland, Germany, UK, Italy, Holland, Austria, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and South Korea, gaining expertise in the industry and exposure to international business practices.
- Shri Raagatex (SRT): Established a Marketing Organization in India to represent world leaders in Textile Finishing from Europe and Asia.
- 40+ Projects: The Consultancy Division of SRT has set up know-how transfers and semi-turnkey projects in India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Mauritius, and Sri Lanka.
